When you pay

Prices are quoted in US dollars. Your booking is confirmed once the deposit has reached us and we have told you so in writing.
Ways to pay
- Card: international debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, JCB) through a secure online payment gateway.
- Bank transfer: to our Vietnamese bank account, which accepts transfers from abroad (SWIFT).
- Cash: for the balance, on the first day of the trip.
Paying by card
- Once you accept your trip plan, we send you an invoice with a payment link.
- Open the link and check your name, the trip and the amount.
- Enter your card details on the payment gateway's secure page.
- Confirm the payment with your bank, usually with a one-time code (3-D Secure).
- The page shows the result of the payment. We then confirm your booking in writing.
Card payments are charged in Vietnamese dong (VND). The amount in VND is shown on the payment page before you confirm. Your bank converts it to your own currency at its rate and may charge a foreign transaction fee.
Card security
- You enter your card details on the payment gateway's page, not on our website. The gateway is licensed by the State Bank of Vietnam and meets the PCI DSS card security standard.
- Ha Giang Native Tour never sees or stores your full card number, expiry date or security code.
- All data between your browser and the payment page is encrypted (SSL).
- We never ask for card details on WhatsApp, by email or in the chat on this website. Please do not send them.
Paying by bank transfer
- The bank details are on your invoice. The account is held in the name of our owner, Bui Thanh Dung.
- Use your invoice number as the payment reference, so we can match the payment to your booking. Someone else can pay for you in the same way.
- Fees charged by your bank or by intermediary banks are paid by the sender.
Paying in cash
The balance can be paid in cash to us at the start of the trip, before departure. We give you a receipt on the spot.
Failed or double payments
If money has left your account but you have no confirmation from us, or you were charged twice, send us your invoice number and a screenshot of the payment on WhatsApp. We check it with the payment gateway and refund any amount charged by mistake within 7 working days.
Invoices and receipts
Every payment is recorded against your invoice. After each payment we confirm in writing what we have received and what is left to pay. Refunds follow our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
